Tucson, You’re Invited! Cheer On the Games and Celebrate Our Community

Tucson is proud to host the 2025 JCC Maccabi Games® & Access, welcoming nearly 1,000 Jewish teen athletes from around the world. All local community members are welcome to attend the Games as a spectator — for free!

This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to celebrate local youth, athletic excellence, and global Jewish unity, while proudly representing Tucson and sharing our signature warmth with a worldwide audience.

How to Attend as a Tucson Spectator

For the safety of all athletes and guests, advance registration and security clearance are required. No walk-up spectators will be permitted. Here’s how to register:
  1. Create an Account: 
    • Visit the Registration Portal to get started.
    • Account name: Please enter your LAST NAME followed by TUCSON.
  2. Register as a Spectator: 
    • After creating your account, select “Spectator Registration” and complete your profile.
  3. Complete Security Clearance:
    • Every spectator will undergo a standard security clearance. You will be notified once your registration is approved.

What’s Included with Your Spectator Pass?

  • Once approved, you’ll get admission to the Opening Ceremonies – an Olympic-style celebration filled with spirit, music, and community pride.
  • Access to athletic competitions throughout the week, held at venues across Tucson.
  • The chance to support incredible young athletes and be part of a joyful, uplifting event.


*Please note: Everyone must wear a credential to enter any JCC Maccabi Games® & Access event. Under no circumstances will anyone without a GAMES CREDENTIAL be allowed to attend any event. There is NO exception to this rule.*

Weather

With 350+ days of sunshine a year, Tucson is one of the sunniest cities in the United States! And the summer months include our beloved monsoon season – when much needed moisture from the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of Mexico delivers thunderstorms and dazzling lightning displays. 

Please prepare yourself for varied weather that may include hot daytime temperatures and heavy afternoon rain. Stay well-hydrated, wear sunscreen and hats, and carry an umbrella.

Visiting Spectator Passes

All spectators over the age of 5 must obtain a spectator pass to enter opening ceremonies and all venues for sports competitions.

Spectator passes can be purchased and are priced as follows:

  • Kids under 6 = free
  • Kids 6-12 = $18 early bird/ $35 after June 15
  • 12+ = $50 early bird/ $75 after June 15

  • Create a new account by clicking the green “register” icon on the top right of the page.
  • Account name: Please enter your LAST NAME followed by DELEGATION NAME. (*If you live in the Tucson area, please put Tucson Maccabi as your delegation.)
  • After creating your account, click the red “add registration” icon.
  • Select YOUR type of participation. If spectator ONLY, please select that option.
  • Complete the required fields.
  • Add additional registrations for all individuals in your household attending the Games


Everyone must wear a credential to enter any JCC Maccabi Games® & Access event. Under no circumstances will anyone without a GAMES CREDENTIAL be allowed to attend any event. There is NO exception to this rule.

Frequently Asked Questions

The host community works closely with a wide variety of local, state and federal agencies to determine the security needs for the Games.

Credentials are a visible identification badge for anyone participating in any aspect of the Games. These credentials allow the security team to determine access and help keep our venues secure. They must be worn at all times, no exceptions. If credentials are lost, replacement credentials are available at Maccabi Central.

Spectators are also required to obtain a spectator pass which permits entry into Games venues and opening ceremonies only.

Yes. Events will be held at several sites in the Tucson area. Security personnel will ensure participants get to venues and events in a timely and safe manner.
